I see the whole romance in it married to make love and when I was little I was determinded to wait.I would feel to wait till marriage is ideally the best because then you have all these feelings and urges supressed and you can let them all out on one night and feel that you are very loved. I don't like the fact of people wanting to get married earlier, if they are religous and then decided they can't wait any longer so they can married just so that they can have sex with each other.
the plus side to NOT waiting till you get married is hopefully by then you will know what pleases your partner so the sex might be more enjoyable and less awkward. I mean some people are probably just not sexually compatable but their hearts are so then it's a matter of how sexual and how important it is for them to express their feelings throught that type of intamacy. I just feel people should only make love and it actually being because you are in love with them.
With me though,I mean I haven't been married or close to engagment or anything, but for me the first time with a new partner is very special. I do sometimes feel like wow I should have waited and had this person be my first and only, ya know? but being in love so much with that person I'm with, it just doesn't make it such of a big deal then that they weren't my first. doesn't make it any less special. what makes it special is how deep your love and emotional connections are with that person and how you can get through anything with them;-)The person that will always stick up, be there by your side, to protect you and would go to hell to rescue you from there and come back just because they love you so much.People don't think that's possible anymore and settle for less than what will make them truely happy.I know that I can find a man that will make me smile till make face hurts and laugh and feel giddy all the time and want to sing all my favirote love songs. Love can be a state of mind, your freedom with that person to be as happy as you want to be. I know I sound nieve but people put limits on their happiness. I'm glad I have the young out look on life and am not so cinical. I know whomever I'm with, we'll go through unplasent times I'm sure but when you love someone you don't wanna stay mad that long and you work things out because you wanna be happy. and all of that matters way more than saving your virginity for marriage.

It is not more of a wish, but I prefer I had it till the day of marriage. but once I lost my virginity and saw what feels like to hump a woman you have no feeling for, I have made a decision to stay out of sex till marriage.
It is not worth any of the effort!
By the way I am a guy.

not since i married the only guy i had sex with!
otherwise i would have regretted it.
by the way, you don't understand this until you are married. it really is a special thing between married people. i didn't understand this at all until i got married a few months ago, and then it all made sense. at least i did marry the guy i had sex with for the first time & the only guy i had sex with, so it is still special between us. he did sleep with someone before me, but that doesn't bother me. it is special to him still, but guys are so different when it comes to this stuff...

it depends..if its the body that attracts you and sex is just plain a physical thing for you ..go for it but if has more to do with your innerself and you want to give yourself to that some 1 special then wait. its worth it ..believe me. the first experience is wonderful and it is treasured all thru life so do it from your heart and not just body.

i did ,but for those who didnt every relationship they will ever have will be doomed to failure because they carry the baggage from old sexlives and lovers into every new sexually charged relationship hence the word WHORES.
