In Christ's parable about the rich man and Lazarus, we find Lazarus (the beggar) begging for even the tiniest crumb to fall from the rich man's table, so that he might eat. But the rich man was greedy, and was not merciful, and he found himself in torment after he died. But Lazarus was comforted in Heaven. So is it OK to be a good Samaritan to an un-believer? Yes. For God says that even the sun shines down upon the just and unjust.

Truly good people don't care what others believe when deciding whether or not to give them help. I have no belief in any god. I believe that if you see someone in need and you can help them, you do it. Simple as that.

If it really is bread, I would prefer it toasted with butter. Thank-you.

I would you never know when you're being tested and besides it's just the human thing to do why deny anyone life if you can help them. You never know who that next convert might be.
