mp3PRO...you can reduce your file size to 1/2 and still keep the sound quality...I've been using this for years now and quite pleased with the size and sound of the music files...

I use an older program called Xing MP3 encoder. I know there are many out there. Just remember that once you lower the quality the worse it may sound.
For example a raw *.wav file 4 min song might be 40 MB
But compressed to 128 bit (stardard mp3) might be 4 MB.
All of my original masters (you can't tell the difference with bass or treble with my hi-fi speaker system) I encode at 320 bit. That song would be about 11 MB. If you compress it down to 64 bit it sounds like a AM radio. I looked for you and found one that will do upto the maximum quality 320 bit. I would suggest you try it and do a sample 30 seconds in the above bit rates.
