Okay, let's say that a girl had a medical problem that prevented her from shaving her genitailia. If she was still pretty, would you find her less attractive because of the fact that she did not shave her genitals? I often develop chronic ingrown hairs, and although I don't have a boyfriend now and it's no problem, when I did I would get ingrown hairs that were so severe that I had to go to my doctor to have them surgically removed. I don't have a large amout of pubic hair, but I also know that some guys find it very unattractive. But the fact of the matter is that shaving there causes me extreme discomfort and medical complicaitions.

Okay, now what about armpits too :) Since everyone here is so free and accepting, what about armpitt hair. If the hair was not long enough to braid, and the girl was still pretty, what would you do?

If shaving is that problematic for you just trim it instead. As long as its clean and doesnt smell like trout you should be fine. (I know that sounds gross but ...) You might experiment with different shaving techniques.
Shave side to side, use baby oil beforehand and don't shave every day. until your skin adjusts you shouldnt shave each and every day anyways. It takes time to get that area used to being shaved.
Besides there are several ways to handle it
Some like shag carpets, some like the landing strip, some like the triangle and some like hardwood floors.. its all a matter of preference and as long as its kept clean it shouldnt matter to you or him! Besides that the french never shave or so Ive heard.
and there are alot of people here that have a great point! IF a guy can't accept you for who you are then he needs to grow up and get a life.

I date women I like because of their personality. Wither or not they shave is not an issue. If the relationship advances to a point that sex is involved, then I why would I mess up a good thing by complaining about hair issues....?

Yes. Shaved genitalia was not practiced until just the last few years and is not something that all girls or women do now. I like hair myself and I think you will find someone who does too. Don't put yourself through the discomfort.

Are you serious? There are a few million things more important in life and relationships than your pubic hair. If someone is concerned about it then it's a good indication that you won't want to spend the rest of your life with them anyway!!!

Dont worry dear..dont ever think that every body hates pubic hairs..instead some love to see that..any how discuss the matter with ur bf when you will have one (if the prob is for u only)

i belive that its the enter beauty that counts not the outer. So i dont think it matters to me if u shave or not. If it makes problems for u then dont worry about it. If a guy has a problem with it then its time to find anouther one.

i would date a girl, shaved or unshaved. its not a big issue for me, and im suprised that it actually would be for some guys. i cant really see how it would be a problem for most guys, actually. just dont worry about it, because if a guy rejects you because of something small like that, he's not someone you want to be with anyway.

I really don't get your genital problems,
But if you don't have STDs and if we can have sex after marriage, I don't care weather you shave your genitals or grow the hair until it pushes your waist. That will be your choice

I prefer clear genitals. But if you have some problem with shave. I can date with a girl who didn't shave her genitals.
Don't worry, but I think guys prefer clear body without hair

Personally, I would have no problem with it. Now if you are wearing a bikini I would expect you to trim so that you aren't spilling out your bikini, but to me natural women are sexy and beautiful. I actually hate it when girls shave themselves bald.
