When downloading a movie from limewire which do i use there are so many choices.

It depends on the quality you seek, the program players you have installed in your computer and the quality of the file offered.

I think that the movie file you choose should depend on the subject of the movie, not the file type. For either case, you can download software to play it. VCL is good for playing both. However, since it's off limewire, It's probably better to go for the avi file since the majority of working movie files tend to be avi files off of p2p netowrks.

avi is the digital movie camera format m-peg2 is dvd m-ped1is vcd m-peg4 is divix then you have quick time and windows media player formats

.avi is more universal than .mov (quicktime)
