My sister is always hitting me when we fight. I am 13 & she is 14. What should I do? She is alot stronger than I am?

My parents are not around cuz they don't have custody. My grandparents have guardianship and my sister does not respect them at all.

Family or not, that is something that you shouldn't take from anyone. It seems as though you may not be able to talk to your parents. If you can, then TELL, TELL, TELL. Maybe she is taking her anger out on you who knows. I do know that it is tough to love someone who hurts you. You wouldn't want to grow up like that anyways you know? Stand up now in whatever way that you are capable of while you are young. Siblings as well as family members are people who can be hard on you. Also, some like to victimize others so they don't have to deal with their own life. ***Ask your sister if she can be angry WITHOUT hitting you. Then, continue to ask her that question while talking to your parents/anyone who can help you about this. Keep in mind: You may be the only person who can help your self out of this situation you know. Good Luck...

The first thing I thought when I saw this question was, "Hit her back." It might turn into a fight, but that happens between siblings. i can tell you that when my brother and I got into fights at that age, we weren't the least interested in talking about our problems. If she's stronger than you, I'd suggest you think before you hit. Hit somewhere, where it'll hurt a lot and then watch out cause she might try to make you hurt just as much. Just be aware that there are certain lines that shouldn't be crossed. Many people have said to get a bat. That's coming dangerously close to that line if not going over, because a lot of damage can be dealt with a bat relatively easily. No matter what remember that this is your sister. You don't want to hurt her too bad.

You should talk to your parents about what is going on> If you are not putting your hands on her she should have no reason to hit you and this is something that your parents should handle right away because this is not right what she is doing to you. if your parents talk to her and she still doesnt stop hit her back when she hits you and let her see how it eels to be hit for no reason that may make her think before she puts her hands on you again when the two of you argue

I have an older sister too so I know what you mean.
From my point of view:
Tell her to stop hitting you.
Be like, "Dood, could you not, cause I'm seriously not gonna get into this with you, your older than me and you're hitting me, that really shows sign of immaturity, if you wanna be treated like you're 14, act like it"
Then walk away, they'll learn from it.
From then on, try not to start conflicts with them, try to get along with them because having an older sister is truly one of the greater gifts you've recieved, they can help you alot, especially since you guys are close to age.
I'm just saying.
I really hoped I helpedd.

I am sorry to say that in everything there is what is called a pecking order. Meaning someone is always stronger than the other. I guess I would try not to fight.

why does she hit u? i could be b/c that she does love u she just want to fight it so this way when she has a problem she knows she can come and talk to u no matter what.

u should talk to your parents about this or just ignore your sister for the time being. if she still bothers you, fight back with your brain; think of a non-violent way to get her off your back.

i don't know , but some-day you will realize that your family is the most important thing in the world. just try to forget about it and move on. it sounds dumb right now and i don't know why she hit you or why you fight, but all i can tell you is just love your family. you will understand when you are older. please don't fight and if you do, do so in a loving way.
