Those stories are told to children to prepare the for the bible. They are made to believe unrealistic stories as children so they will readily accept unrealistic stories as an adult. The mentality is the same in both situations, because mom and dad say it, it is true. If the bible says it, it is true. Christianity is the biggest conspiracy the world has ever seen.

Really? In Japan, where I lived for six years, kids also got a big dose of Santa Claus and (to a lesser extent) the Easter Bunny.

And they're not even Christian. Only about 1% of the Japanese population is Christian.

The 99% of Japanese children who are not Christian hear stories about Santa, the EB, Pokemon, the tooth fairy, and a whole host of other fictional characters.

None of this is done with the intent of "preparing them to be brainwashed as future Christians."

So, no offense, but I don't know what you're on about.

First, I am a Christian.

Second, my children were never taught about Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, tooth fairy, nor any of the other made up stories. I do not feel you can lie to children and still expect them to believe you about anything else.

Third, I did teach my children about the Bible and read Bible stories to them. I had much rather live the Christian life and at death, find my happy Christian life was to no avail than to live like the devil and find the Bible is true. I am happy where I am and try to allow others their own lives. I talk about God/Christ/Holy Spirit often, but if you don't want to believe, that is your prerogative.

What's unrealistic about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny?

Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny are just things for kids to enjoy. When they grow up they know this, however in real Christian families the Bible is taught at a very young age and does not stop there. Christianity is the only real religion that will get you to heaven. It has been around since the beginning of time. All the others are made up ones.

Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are pagan. They have been adopted by misinformed and surface Christians. They a planted by the Devil. They demean the Christian faith and all true Christians should denounce them. God is way beyond what these caricatures stand for. They are Satanic. Got it?

In a way yes because most christians don't even believe in GOD they pray to Jesus, and we all know the story of how Moses stuc water out of the rock and claimed he did it not GOD, Jesus never intended to make his own religion he was born a Jew and died a Jew, if you dont belive read the Dead sea Scrolls which was kept hush hush becasue it showed that jesus was not the blond haired blue eyes person most christians worshiped but a fairly dark skinned Isralite who was part of a jewish Esssence.
the Vatican suppressed the publication of the scrolls were published in the 1990s. Notably, Michael Baigent's and Richard Leigh's book The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception claim that several key scrolls were deliberately kept under wraps for decades to suppress unwelcome theories about the early history of Christianity; in particular, Eisenman's speculation that the life of Jesus was deliberately mythicized by Paul, possibly a Roman agent who faked his "conversion" from Saul in order to undermine the influence of anti-Roman messianic cults in the region.

Actually, as a Christian, I taught my children that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny were make believe. I taught them that because I wanted them to know the difference between fiction and truth.

They were started to make the holidays fun and exciting for children, but the media, and marketingh as turned them into huge gimics for the opposite of christianity and they would rather have Santa then Jesus. Remember Santa is close to Satan, not to hate on Santa if there is one or ever was one, but society has truned him into the anti Christ.

only the Easter bunny is made up but comes from truth a man used to deliver fresh eggs to orphans but was killed for breaking the law by cruel men and saint Nicholas is Santa close who gave toys to pore kids in Russia Satan made them into fairy tells so that we could easily call the bible truths fake. knowing god is greater than us is what makes the bible truths possible

Gimme a break. You wanna target to pick on, look at Ronald McDonald. More recognizable by kids than the president or Jesus Christ. I wonder what kind of conspiracy there is there.
