Yes, of course. And it would make no difference if I were born in India, Thailand, Saudi Arabia or the jungles of Papua New Guinea - I would of course instinctively KNOW the Christian God was the right one!

LOL

I agree that there are many Gods and religions. However, when you look through them you will find that the Christian/Jewish/Muslim is the best for our world in this day and age. If you really look into the stories you will find commonalities between the stories of Gods and people. You will find Native Americans talking about their great spirit, and the flood and so on, you will find Christian-like religions in Africa based on traditions that are almost so old it is almost unrecognizable as teh same religion, you will find demons and dragons and such in every culture. Then you may come to realize, that while much of these stories are pure fantasy, it could be that many of them are referring to the same events and maybe even the same God.

The bible speaks of a point in which all man spoke the same tongue and had the same religion and then were scattered. Hmm...

Many of the old civilizations that had multiple gods understood that they were really merely different aspects, or personalities of a single true God. Take all 3000 or so of the known deities, and all the different parts of their personality, add that together with all the love and hatred the judeo-christian god has to offer, and I think you would be getting closer to the one true God.
different faces, same source.

No.And your idea of yahweh is wrong. before moses started the Monothesic religion . Yahweh was part of a dual Godhead the other of which was Jahovah . The other part of let us make and other such statements. Also before then the Jewish religion was a Matricial one and the names of the two dieties was femine. The same can be said of other religions tht went from a female domenated society to a male domenated society. or the reverse.

The only true diety is the CREATOR of ALL THINGS that is known by many names . As many asthere are stars in the sky and grains of sand in all the oceans.

Just to re-phrase your statement, of the the almost 2998 unknown Gods throughout world history, is the Jewish-Christian-Muslim God the right one?

There are many significant differences between Christianity and all other religions. But, consider this. In all other religions, man is reaching to God - must be good enough to weigh the scales, must pray 5 times a day, must provide sacrifice ...

In Christianity, it is God reaching down to humans - with a gift that requires no payment. Jesus paid the price already.

Because all christians are sinners and they just needed someone to pay for their sins so that they could continue their sinful lives in this world, because their dad pays for their sins. Sort of like being the kid of a rich dad who pays for his spolit brats lifestyles.

As for me, the non-sinner I shall continue doing good and being good, and if I ever do sin I shall gladly paying for my sins my own way through karma and reincarnation or going to hell. Doesnt that make you a responsible citizen? :-)

doesn't every religion believe they have the right one? All I can do is try to live my life without causing pain and suffering to anyone else if it can be avoided. People have enough problems of their own without me adding to them.

Tell it to Jesus when you meet Him. He walked the Earth, raised the dead, healed the sick and made the blind see. He got up out of his own grave and ascended to heaven in front of 500 people. His followers were willing to be persecuted, imprisoned and executed rather than give up their belief.

Kind of says something, doesn't it?
