Not hugged per se, but I did have a wonderful encounter with a dryad recently. It's difficult to get close enough to a sizable one without stepping on some roots, so I usually tend to avoid it.

No! I haven't hugged a tree lately.
I used to walk in the forest and hug trees and sit under them and just be in their presence.
Thanks for reminding me. I miss that, and I will go out into nature again soon.

No thanks, I'm allergic. but i do send e-mails which saves paper, and unplug appliances when I'm not using them, which preserves oxygen or whatever that is we're supposed to be saving.
But that "soldier of god" dude needs a hug i think. Any volunteers?
