Un-install the software.
Delete any Nero folder remaining in the 'program folder'.
Delete all Nero related files and folders in 'temporary' folder
Delete all associated files from the registry by running 'regedit'.
If you dont know how to delete files from the registery, dont try it or you will have big problems.
Get somebody who knows how to do it.
Install Nero afresh.
You should not have any problems with nero now.
If the problem persists get Roxio. Its far better.

I bought and installed the latest Nero. I could never get on line with it. I e-mailed support and a week or two later, someone said I needed to delete files from an old installation and gave me programs to delete. Only thing I had never had Nero on my new computer. I threw it away, and got Roxio.
