Sounds like one of those collars is in order. That will block access to the ears. If you had that happen to you, you'd want to get it off too...

Ask your vet about an elizabethian collar, it should have been applied (it goes around the dog's neck, it's like a paper megaphone, but it's best not to make it out of paper, incase of paper cut, though he may not like it for a while, give him treats when he's not fiddling with the collar or the ear...), or shout "no." or make some noise he doesn't like when he does it.

Just like ANY/EVERY THING *ELSE*!!!
It takes time & TRAINING!
You *might* have to resort to an "elizabethan collar" if you can't control your pup! & you better get at it or you'll RUIN the crop!

Your vet should have the lamp shade type collar..it fits the neck and makes it difficult for the animal to reach the sore spot.

Call the vet who cropped them. They should have given you instructions for caring for them anyway. If they didn't, they OWE it to you on the phone.
