I put them bread. Make a cinnamon bread and add dried fruit and nuts. About a 1/2 c. per loaf.
I have dried cranberries, cherries, raisins, pineapple, apricots, plums, etc and walnuts., cashews, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and I put a mixture in it.
Or make your own trail mix, I add every kind of dried fruit I have plus a mixture of all the nuts and add some chocolate chips, and you have a yummy trail mix that is good for you and it don't go bad for quite a while, it lasts even better if you refrigerate it and keep it in there until ready to use.
