Please don't generalize. Generalizing the personal feeling of a person or a group tends to lead to misconceptions. Think how a christian thinks, he is thinking that all muslims are terrorists (which they are not) he is thinking all muslims want to kill them. These are all misconceptions. Thus some (but not all) christians start hating muslims. Their act of hatred triggers some more bitter feelings inside other muslims, and this way, the hatred increases in a chained process.

I guess you got that idea from people around YA who make accounts only to attack Islam, but believe me this is not the opinion of all Christians. I am a Muslim and my best friend is a Christian Dutch person and all her friends and family treat me nicely and like me a lot, and I like them too.
I would suggest that you ignore what some questions from hating people around here mention, and I do realize it is sometimes provocative questions with ignorant and false information, but you cannot control what other people say or write. You can only clarify information in the kind, peaceful way Islam calls for and then hope that other neutral people are smart enough to figure out the truth.

Not much of a question there.
"Muslim" Policy?
US policy?
Foreign Policy?
Domestion Policy?
Fiscal Policy?
Not to mention that's quite a generalization too. I consider myself a Christian, probably in a truer sense than the average "Christian," and I don't hate Muslims.
Do you?

I detect a note of sarcasm in you rquestion. And since you answered your own question I must tell you that I agree not only christians but most of the hindus and the buddhists and practically the entire world hate muslims. And my reasons are because the people who follow the Islamic religion follow it blindly withou even turning back to see the justification of each act they make in the name of allah. And they actually use it to their own advantage to stop gender empowerment of the females. I wouldn't say all but most of the muslims are Sexists in a dangerous way. I pity their women as they are denied the most simplest pleasures in life

Not all Christians hat Muslim people, but I have to admit that many of them fear Muslims.
I'm Muslim and sometimes when people talk about Muslims it's like a chill goes up their spine. It's annoying and freaky.
Imagine being Christian and sitting and seeing on TV an American Christian, who has converted to Islam and is spouting hate. It scares me, and I'm a Muslim.

Sounds like you have run into some very narrow minded opionions by people with a bitterness of their own heart. Most Christians that I have met say that God instructs them to love all people. Fear has been instilled into most of the world by narrow minded people wanting to controll and cause bloody friction and war, where none should exists. True enough, there are people in the world who do not like muslims, jews, asians, malay's, itallians, germans....ect...get the point. Do not forget what horror Hitler did to Jews, Itallians, Muslims, Christians, and more. It is the belief of the fear and lies; which allow us to dwell on and feed the bitterness in our own hearts.

garabagh,
It's because we are at war with Muslims. And calling it "policy" sounds like a bad idea. Too many things happen in America that are bad for us, unrelated to this subject, with the excuse given, "Oh, it's just our policy."
Typically it's the policy of this country to defend against terrible people that want to attack us. And so that's why we are at war with Muslims there, it helps to keep them out of here.
As far as hating Muslim people? Rather we hate those that do us evil, and the leadership of the Muslims. And they just don't seem to understand that.

Even though hating anyone is far from the ideals of the religion's founder; some of the individual believers you may have come accross can fall far short of this. Christians are just human after all - with all the weaknesses and falling short of where we would like to be.

garabagh, I want to inform you that I am offended that you group Christians and group Muslims. I don't hate Muslims. I'm offended by the terrorists who want to exterminate infidels. Christians are considered infidels by some who are extreme. I know some Muslims that live here in America don't feel that way and are enjoying the freedom they have to worship as they please. It is my hope that soon we can all live in peace. Are you my friend or foe?

I don't hate muslims but I'm scared of them after all this terrorist stuff going on.
Christians nowadays are fairly up to date and very into women rights. Muslims are often against it and in many secs the woman can't even show her arm or face. The way we look at that is it is not the womans fault that men can't control themselves in those countries. Prior to the 9-11 incidents there was not much hatred towards muslims, at least for civilians. Any hatred would have stem from how the women are treated or dictatorship going on.
