Not too many tens have came up on this whole deck....What do you do? Risk pulling a 10 and bust?

Against a dealer's face card, you should always draw on a 12. Probability says that even if you don't draw, the dealer has a very good chance of drawing a good card and not busting. You have a better chance of winning by drawing another card rather than staying put.

As a general rule, with the dealer showing a face card, draw if you have less than 17.

You have to hit on a 12 when the dealer is showing a face card....9 out of 10 times the dealer will not bust showing one. Most times they do when they are showing a 6 or below.

Not too many 10's on the table? You answered your question! The odds then of you pulling a 10er and busting are lower than normal. The odds of the dealer pulling a 10er and staying at 20 are lower than expected.

However, the odds of the dealer pulling a 7-10/A is MASSIVE compared to your lowly 12.

HIT.

Against any ten card with a twelve, you would always hit. Don't like another person suggested, hit a 12 against a dealer 5.

Basic Strategy with player 12:
Hit when dealer shows 2,3,7,8,9,10,A
Stand on 4,5,6.

Hitting on a dealer 3 is borderline.

Always draw with a 12. Even if the dealer showed a 5 you would draw on a twelve. YOu have only a 4/13 which is less than a third of a chance of busting.
