Who says it's wrong? It's your life, live it how you want! Even 70 year old women get together and sew lol (or whatever they do). As long as someone responsible is taking care of your kids, go have fun! Life is short, enjoy it!
and dont listen to the dork that said "Doing so neglects your motherly duties". Just because you had kids means your life is over? If you're going out every night of the week and your kids forget who you are then its too much. Once a month or even once a week is fine.

No it is not wrong. It is good for you and your children. IT gives you a much needed break from raising them, and it teaches your children the value of friendship. I would try to have one every week or a couple of times a month at least. If the bills are paid, and your children are properly being cared for, then you are being a WONDERFUL mother by giving yourself a time out. I mean homestly how many times can we hear the wiggles sing, or the doodlebops, or dora having our children scream at the tv before we snap???

No not at all, it is a good and healthy thing to have adult time, catch up with the girls and enjoy girl time. Until seven years ago, my girlfriends and I some married some not, made time at least once maybe twice a year to have a pajama party at one of our houses. I moved 2hours away, so it is now more difficult more me to attend. And we would have girls nights at least every other month. I think it is really healthy, can not be around the children all of the time, and not always just around men. Girls need their time just as men need their time. Good for you, and I am a little jealous! I miss my girl time. God bless

Honey I am 28 and every month I go out with my friends. Who ever is making you feel like this needs to back off!! A woman who is raising 3 children deserves a night to herself. Don't feel bad, as long as your children are taken care of and they know you love them with all your heart that is all that matters! Go ENJOY YOURSELF!!

Of course it's not wrong. It is very important that you socialize with people and continue to make friends. You don't want to end up being a middle-aged adult with not friends to rely on. Your kids will be fine with a babysitter. My parents used to go out every Friday and Saturday night while I was growing up and I turned out fine.

Heck no! I'm a mother of 4 and I look forward to those nights out with my pals! Makes you a better parent, when you can break loose once in awhile. Go out and have some fun, you owe it to yourself.

Not wrong at all, if you have a trusted person to take care of the children, while you're out with friends, or whoever.
