I can't understand if it was an accident what the problem is if he apologized. Haven't you ever called anyone by the wrong name. My mom calls my by my brothers name and I am a girl...Let it go.

When I had our first son and he woke up crying the first night home, my husband asked "is he alright Linda?" .... not my name, was his x wife's name. We had been married over 9 months by then. It really hurt, like a knife in my heart. I would not talk to him for days. He's gone over 5 years now after 30 years of a love story marriage and 8 beautiful children, his, mine and ours lol. If you really love him, you get over it and go on.

well i guess it would depend on the situation, but my husband called me by his ex's name twice, and I was ticked off and I told him, he apologized and we moved on. He also said it was just a habit, and if your guy was in a long relationship this could be the case too. My husband hasn't called me by her name in years, as a matter of fact, he can't remember her name half the time anymore. so if you really like him give him a chance.

Well there had to be some association for him to even bring her name in your life.
You never know maybe you act or better yet what ifs can go on an on.
I personally would just let him hang himself.
What is done in the dark will come to light.
ALWAYS. Good Luck to you.

Basically i wont care about that. A guy friend did mistakenly switches my name with other women's name. Maybe the guy has difficulty pronouncing and remembering your name that he refers to another woman's name as a clue to yours. No malice.

You would have a right to be angry. I only ever go out with women with the same name. So if there are any Mary's out there, give me a call.

I guess if I really liked him, I'd tell my self it really was an accident, just a slip-up, like maybe he had something else on his mind. If this is one of many incidents, you should say BYE BYE

Sorry to butt in. Your question reminded me about what happened to me before.
I introduced my girl to a friend and I said another girl's name. I was actually like that girl and kept thinking of her.
I was very very bad and I was very sorry!
