Twice now I have read on here and have heard that Abraham worshiped a "Moon God"
Where in the Bible does it state this?
So either Abraham was a prophet of God or a prophet of the "Moon God", I dont understand this
can someone explain please

Abraham did not worship a Moon God, nor do Muslims, nor is it mentioned in the Quran.

As far as i remember the story goes like this and iam not quoting:

Before Prophet hood was revealed on Abraham, he could not comprehend why people worship idols, as they could not do anything for themselves. So he searched for the true god. In his search he considered the sun to be a god, but again when night came he thought how could the sun be a god, it has been overpowered by the moon, then he thought abt the moon, but that too did not make sense, and then about the stars but they too vanished in daylight... and finally Allah/God ended his search, and he became a prophet of Allah.


By the way Muslims and Jews and Christians believe in the same one God. Who we Muslims call Allah as that is His name. And everything abt a moon god is just nonsense.

Sure. Go find a mosque. Stand there and look up, what do you see? A crescent moon and star. Hm. Where did that come from? Go to the library, pick up a book. Read that mohammed chose the moon god, out of all the thousands of gods, to worship.

Oh, and P.S. no one in the bible has anything to do with Allah, the false moon god.

The evil one will come as an angel of light this the Bible does talk of and God's word says there is only one God. All other god's are 'man made'. See man was made to have communication with God, and you may remember The Tri-Une God said 'Let us make man in our immage' - not to be equal to God, but to worship Him. We fell short ie sinned against God, but God had devised another plan and sent Jesus to dwell amongst us so that we can accept Jesus into our lives andlive once again as we were intended to live - worshiping Him Only. Putting no other god's before Him. Some folks find it so difficult to just accept Jesus into their lives, ie they do not do anything themselves to recieve eternal life. They want to do something to ern their way to Heaven. God did not intend for us to ern our way - lest we boast - look what I did to get into Heaven - NO !!! It is by Grace alone that we are saved by our Lord Jesus Christ, I suggest you read the book of John in th New Testament.
Love the Lord your God with your whole heart and your whole mind and your whole body and love your neighbour as yourself. Do not follow when folks say "He is the Christ" For no-one knows the day or the hour when Jesus will come again and He will come to fetch all who Love Him and have accepted Jesus into their lives, There is no 144 000 folks that are going to Heaven cause the Bible tells us that folks are going to be surprised who is there and who is not.
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.

Whoever strikes a person mortally shall be put to death. If it was not premeditated, but came about by an act of God, then I will appoint for you a place to which the killer may flee. (12) But if someone willfully attacks and kills another by treachery, you shall take the killer from my altar for execution.

Whoever strikes father or mother shall be put to death.

Whoever kidnaps a person, whether that person has been sold or is still held in possession, shall be put to death.

Whoever curses father or mother shall be put to death.

When individuals quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or fist so that the injured party, though not dead, is confined to bed, but recovers and walks around outside with the help of a staff, then the assailant shall be free of liability, except to pay for the loss of time, and to arrange for full recovery.

When a slaveowner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. But if the slave survives a day or two, there is no punishment; for the slave is the owner s property.

When people who are fighting injure a pregnant woman so that there is a miscarriage, and yet no further harm follows, the one responsible shall be fined what the woman's husband demands, paying as much as the judges determine. If any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. (13)

When a slaveowner strikes the eye of a male or female slave, destroying it, the owner shall let the slave go, a free person, to compensate for the eye. If the owner knocks out a tooth of a male or female slave, the slave shall be let go, a free person, to compensate for the tooth. . . .

When a man seduces a virgin who is not engaged to be married, and lies with her, he shall give the bride-price for her and make her his wife. But if her father refuses to give her to him, he shall pay an amount equal to the bride-price for virgins.

You shall not permit a female sorcerer to live. (14)

Whoever lies with (15) an animal shall be put to death.

Whoever sacrifices to any god, other than the Lord alone, shall be devoted to destruction.

You shall not wrong or oppress a resident alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt. You shall not abuse any widow or orphan. You shall not revile God, or curse a leader of your people.

You shall not delay to make offerings from the fullness of your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to me. You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep: seven days it shall remain with its mother; on the eighth day you shall give it to me. (18)

You shall be people consecrated to me; therefore you shall not eat any meat that is mangled by beasts in the field; you shall throw it to the dogs. (19)

You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the officials, and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.
