my dad is bribing me and my brothers (2 of them) with new bikes and an ipod to share. either that, or visit all of our life long friends who live in florida for new years. they used to live near me, but they moved. what should i choose? i am really close to my friends, but i like email and call them all the time, so should i go for the bribe?
help please!

Obviously new bikes and an Ipod must be cheaper than the travel! Ask your dad if he can afford to send you in the first place, maybe he offered the cheaper deal to save money! Times are tight I bet your friends would understand that you were not able to travel to see them at this time and you could plan it for a future date!

Your Dad shouldn't be making you do these choices and if you choose the bikes...its just shows how materialistic you are, because you like your possessions more than you like your friends. How would you feel if you knew that they made a decision like that too...that an Ipod was better than visiting you?!

take the bribe. It will teach you that life is all about payoffs and unethical behavior (like the real world)

they moved away anyways. just take the stuff and make new friends in your area
