This is for emo kid: I think that you should talk to someone about everything that is going on in your life. Not saying you need a psychologist or anything. Just try talking to a friend or a bro or sis. Sence you say your mother isn't there for you try your dad or even a teacher at school. Someone will always be there for you even if you think theres no one there. I mean **** you can talk to me if you'd like. Never be afraid to ask. As for school talk to your counsler at school tell them your problem. That you "cant learn". Is it that you actually cant do it or is it that you just cant concentrate? Maybe you have ADD or ADHD. Also have you tried a depression medicine? Im not telling you that you need medicine, personally i would never take them, but if you think they would help.

For emo kids mother: Listen lady you really have to pay more attention to your child. He needs you. He's only 13 years old. That is a very critical age. Different emotions come into play at this age. Depression sets in and this kid has no one there for him. Thats pretty sad that he had to ask people he didn't know for help about his mother. Isn't he suppost to be able to go to his mother for comfort? Yes....yes he is. You need to get your head out of the sky and look at your wounderful child that has asked ignorant people for help. If you think i have no idea what im talking about... your 100% wrong. I've gone through alot including not haveing my mother there for me. Please understand you kid needs you now more than ever.

First of all, I'm sure your mom knows what is best for you and is trying to do that. Make sure you really tell her how you are feeling. Sometimes we moms think we know all of what's going on, but many times we don't. So I hope your mom will read this and really sit with you and talk and then both of you can come up with the best plan for you. Sometimes when you are feeling really bad you don't think that what she says will work, but give it some time, I'm sure in the long run it will be good for you. Good luck and I will send some prayers up for you.

i would hope your Mom loves you enough to put your best interest first if she is able to do it. But you also need to know some of this is in your control too. you need to make the decision on how you want your life to go. Dream and share with your mom what your dreams are, sit down with her and together you two can devise a plan to help you achieve it, but remember you have to do your part if you expect her to do hers. Good luck the future is yours.

Talk this over with your mom or someone you look up to, an adult. Don't be down on yourself. You can learn one way or the other. Try to focus and be determined. You don't have to make A's & B's---C's are average and that's good enough. Try to set good study habits and follow your studying schedule before you watch TV or get on the internet. Good luck to you.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. Don't use homeschooling as an escape from problems, they'll still be there as you hide. Find that special person to look to.
