When you eat two times a day for example, your metabolism slows down, so to speed it up you need to do this: eat 6 times a day but eat small portions and healthy food like veggies, fruits, etc. No icecream, no sodas, no candi or junk food. It worked for me I lost 40 pounds doing this and I never gained any weight. So that´s the secret to eat constantly but in small portions and in a healthy way.

That's probably the problem. Not eating much is the worst thing you can do for your metabolism. Not eating that often causes the body to go through a starvation mode. Your body freaks out so the metabolism slows down because it doesn't think that it will have any nutrients any time soon and it stores more fat. You need to eat at least 5 times a day. Portion control is key. Make sure that you eat small meals of healthy foods. Try using small plates. It will help with the portion control. I hope I could help.

Eat a lot of smaller meals that are mainly protein based. And be very active - not working out that often but always "on the go". Working out is good if you are very regular, but if you're not? - you'll confuse your metabolism. Start by eating the small meals, walking a lot - but not just for the sake of walking you'll just get bored. Drink a lot of water too - at least 10 glasses a day. And sorry but cut out the coffee... the caffeine does a number on your body :P

You need to change both of those habits to raise your metabolism. Eating small meals every 2 or 3 hours along with some sort of cardio (walking at the very least) and resistance training will eventually raise it.
If you stay on track with this, you will no longer need coffee.

1) Excercise in AM it keeps it up throughout the day.
2) Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day (think grazing) this keeps your metabolism up and speed up also)
3) Lift weights....
Those are the best natural heatlthy ways...:)

citrus fruits can help raise your metabolism, things like grapefruit and oranges are great for energy and a boost to the metabolism. But the best bet would also be to get out and work out more, even just out walking and things like that will help a whole lot. a multi vitamin wouldn't hurt either.

ats02171 - Bad combination - better eat better and exercise. No product will lose it 4 U. Do what U can as much as comfortable. Dont try 2 set world endurance record. Eat well, esp breakfast. Light workout every day - stretch, use body weight 2 help lose it.

best way is to work out in the morning before eating. it is more effective than working out in the evening. it'll keep it raised throughout the day..
