I don't know the best way to tell my boyfriend he's being to needy: emotionally and physically? He says things like "I have to see you every day, I need to be around you all day, every day." But, I need my space!!!

Beware! This is controlling-type behavior. Controllers tend to get abusive. Tell him you need some space. You need other friends, alone time, family time, whatever. Just get some distance. A relationship can't survive when it's suffocated to death. Once you get a little space, see how he handles it. If he doesn't pressure you into spending more time with him again or to get married, then he may not be as controlling as he sounds. Otherwise, if he doesn't pass the test and he does pester you for more time and/or committment, then I'd think long and hard about how important this relationship is to you. It may not be worth sticking it out, as things don't get better from there. It's all downhill.

Honestly: you need a new man! Space is somthing everyone needs every day. To gather thoughts, you really need to tell him you need space to be yourself, to be honest he'll probably over ract and try to break up with you, and if i were you dont stop him! Relationships like that only lead to excessive jealousy and some crazy men. Good luck to you, you sound to young to be dealing w/ this

on occasion once you spend alot of time mutually and dont have every time for your self or dont provide the different guy or woman some area it could reason issues. Plan some thing aside as quickly as in awhile. no longer something that would desire to harm your relationship! possibly become in contact with an interest or attempt some thing new youd choose to do. If she has made plans with a chum, then theres no longer something incorrect with you making plans of your very own to spend time with a chum/family individuals member or merely taking holiday for you!! along with her having bi-polar, make optimistic she is taking her meds and seeing a stable counselor can help her along with her thoughts that she is having to boot. If shes having a temper the place she dont choose to be around anybody merely attempt to appreciate her and understand its no longer in all likelihood anthing very own in the direction of you. stable success!!

If you do love him, then tell him so. Say "I love you and enjoy spending time with you, but I also need my time to be with friends and my alone time". If he can't respect that, then maybe it is time to move on.

He seems to have emotional problems. If you are not happy with his smothering ways, break up with him. He cannot change.
