One of the most deceptive notions coming out of the Democratic camp is that the Republican Party is campaigning on a “platform of fear.” Democrats advance this idea simply because Republicans are addressing the deadly serious issue of the war against Islamofascism. In reality, Democrats are either confusing fear with focus or they are intentionally deceiving the American people for political gain.

Our colonies have been poorly established and comparatively few of the indiginous people have been slaughtered. So as wars of conquest go, I'd say we were doing very poorly.

Why can't Afghanistan be more like Iraq? Permanent military bases, 2% of the natives slaughtered (and rising), and the hope of a civil war to eliminate more of them. Now THAT's a war of conquest.
