Schedule a checkup with your dermatologist. There is a temporary condition called Telogen effluvium that can cause you to lose your hair. Your hair basically goes through two phases, the telogen phase and growth phase. At any given time 90% of your hair are in the growth phase but sometimes hormonal imbalances or stress to your body can cause your follicles to get stuck in the telogen phase which is the phase were you shed hairs. I had this condition due to a hormonal imbalance from taking birth control. It corrects itself in time so there is not much that can be done but just waiting it out. I noticed I lost the greatest amount of hair during washing and styling while it was wet when your hair is its most fragile. It lasted about six months for me and then went away as soon as it began. Your hair will return to normal thickness in time. Good Luck:)

That happens to me too.
I've heard that rinsing with cold water after a shower closes the follicles in your head so that less hair falls out, and it seems to work for me.
Give it a try, and if that doesn't work, see a doctor.

It could be stress or the hair care products that you have been using. I would advise going to a hair salon and have a professional tell you what to do. Best of Luck!!!

Go to your doctor and have your iron levels checked. You may be anemic, this can cause you to lose more hair than normal. This is a common problem in young women, especially if you have heavy periods.

Its common to lose approx. 100+ hairs a day. If its excessive you should see a dr, it could be stress related or hormonal. I do suggest your dont keep stressing out about it though because that wont be helping
