yes, especially if it's depo provera. It made me depressed and crazy and gained 50 lbs. (Which I lost within 3 months of stopping the injections. I also became less crazy and depressed.)

Yes.
Do you remember puberty? I was so weird during those years. Now I'm sure part of it was my enviroment, but mostly it had to do with the hormones surging through my body.
The hormonal changes caused by the birth control pill can be even more severe. If you are turning into a psycho jealous weirdo and you don't really think it's "you", try going back for a different pill or try another method (IUD?).
The pill is not for everyone. Trust your instincts.

Your birth control CANNOT CONTROL YOUR JEALOUSY...it however can have a strong effect on your hormones, making you more sensitive to things around you. Most likely you were jealous to begin with you were just repressing the emotion, and with the birth control spiking the levels of your hormones it is harder to control the emotions that you have repressed, Talk to your doctor he may need to adjust or switch the birth control you are on. It may also be good to talk to a councelor and get to the underlying reasons why you feel jealous about things. Most often jealousy is a result of an overactive imagination, your mind gets to working over time and you begin to think things are happening that aren't. Talk to your boyfriend about the things that are making you feel jealous, and talk to a councelor or other third party objective person.

It does something to your hormones. It makes a woman's body like in a "pregnant state" at all times. I don't know to what extent it would affect a person, but I'm sure it affects everyone differently.
