Well, I've had all kinds of purebreds, German Shepards, Black Labs, Golden Retrievers, a maltese and a cocker spaniel.
The best dog I've ever had, is the one I have right now. He's a Boxer and Airedale mix. Looks like a brindle boxer with a beard and eyebrows.
He's smart, quick, and listens extremely well. He is by far the most obedient dog I've ever seen in my life. He's also very protective of the family but is not overly agressive.
So I guess I have to say a mutt!

My Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog mix - she is sweet as pie, very gentle, makes friends with *everyone* (the vet calls her a Star!), and loves to just be near me. But if there's a stranger outside at night she sounds like a demon dog with her snarling and fierce protectiveness. As soon as the sound stops, she bounces around, wiggling her behind and her thick lab tail. I love her so much!! :)
My sister has a Pitbull/Italian Greyhound/Dachsund mix and she is such a little love bug clown! And she runs like the wind! She and my previously mentioned dog are as close as sisters, they love to run and explore the backyard together. I love her like my own so I thought I'd add her to my favorites too. :)

I've had Labs, beagles, weimers and some mutts. But my all time favorite is my current dog, American Staffordshire Terrier. She is truly the greatest dog ever.

I have two kinds of dogs that live with me in the house. I can't choose which is my favorite, that's too hard.
So, my two favorite breeds are
Australian Shepherd~~~loyal and smart
Dashaund~~~~~~~~a comic, and so darn cute.

I like all dogs, I have a Dalmation, and then at my parent's house I have a terrier/Chihuahua mix, Lab/Bassett mix, mini Schnauzer, and a Bassett hound.........I'm a dog lover if you couldn't tell

My sweet lab- pei. She's half lab, half shar-pei and has the cutest wrinkles and is the perfect size for me at 35 lbs. Not to big or small.
