We painted our living room with Kilz low odor paint today. Now I have a horrible headache, nausea, and my neck is hurting. Could the paint fumes be the cause?

Yes paint fumes more than likely caused your headache ,nausea Even if the paint was low odor still releases vapor. As for your neck , painting tends to do that to your muscles, hence i quit my apprenticeship with 2 months to go cause i hate painting with a passion. Get some fresh air ,don't sleep in the same house where your working.

The smell could cause the headache and the nausea because no matter how low oder it says it is kilz is always strong smelling but the neck pain is probably from the action of painting you may have just pulled a muscle.

If you did not use adequate ventilation then yes on the upset stomach, and headache. The neck pain is due to the over head work. This will pass as soon as your system purges. Next time leave a window open and a fan going. I have the same problem.
Always read the label before you start to paint.

Maybe your headache is from the strain when you were painting.
It involves moving in ways you don't do everyday. Hope you feel better. Take a warm bath or shower.

It could be. Open doors and windows for ventilation, and get out of the house for awhile if you need to.
