Yes, Islam does make more sense than Christianity.
No confusing doctrines like trinity, original sin, blood redemption or the like in Islam.

From my knowledge:
in the old testament, god promises the jews a messiah. then in new testaments, jesus came as Son of God and was crucified. The jews don believe Jesus is the Messiah, so they are still waiting for the Messiah to come even till now = Jews
The Christian believe Jesus is the Messiah to provide salvation and grace( undeserved favour). However, church became powerful and oppresive (Note: It's the church, and not Christ).
Then years later Mohammed the prophet came. Being a strong politician and conquerer, he relieved pple from church oppression and started Islam. Islam follows much of the old testaments and do respect Jesus, but do not believe Jesus is the Messiah but is another prophet. and they believe that some of the old testaments is corrupted.
But in my opinion, i still believed in Christ and that he is the Messiah (even if he's only a prophet like many had argued, he did die in our place on the cross).
However, i still respect the Jews and Muslim cos we in some way or the other , might be worshipping the "same god"?? How can we do comparision when all three are going after the same GOD?? I think the only difference is in who is the Messiah. (and by the way, some Christian do Fasting and offerings just like the Muslims) So can we stop arguing and just follow our own faith???

Ok, I'm about to give an unbaised opinion, so here I go.
(I would like to note that I AM Muslim.)
To True (faithful) Muslims, Islam makes more sense.
To True (faithful) Christians, Christianity make more sense.
To True (faithful) Jews, Judaism make more sense.
Islam is the youngest religion, so one could argue that it would make more sense to a modern mind, but technically, they are all just as old because they all started with Prophets Adam and Eve.
Faith doesn't come from parents, but religion often does.
I inherently grew up believing in God.
If my parents had been good Christians, then I would probably be a Christian. My parents are in reality good Muslims.
As a Muslim, I admit there are some aspects of Christianity and Judaism that don't make sense to me, but that's because I don't know much about them.
Muslims believe in 95% of all that Christians and Jews believe in.
The latest research reveals that chimpanzees share
98.8 percent of our (human) genes; mice share 85 to 90
percent; and bananas, 50 percent of our genes.
You think we're different, but we aren't.
I still think that Islam makes the most sense, but I'm not going to bug you about it.
P.S.: I can understand how a good person could be Christian, and I can understand how a good person could be Jewish, so I don't doubt any Christian or any Jew .

Longer history doesn't correlate with how sensible a religion is, i think.
Confucianism and even Hindu was around even before that. How about Paganism which existed when humans were still living in caves.
All religion makes sense to those who have faith. What is more important is what you do with the senses that the religion teaches you.
I'm more of a skeptic. Personally i believe all religions are just a different manifestation of the human's desire for a guide to achieve a better world. Differences materialised due to evolution, cultural differences, interpretation, etc. So for me religion itself is hard to make sense of.
Before u look up to the sky, look first to what is beneath you and next to you.

How can muslims claims this nonsense that islam is older then christianity and judaism ???? The word islam and muslim doesnt apear nowhere in Old Testament (Thora) or New Testament ( Injeel) . It only apear in Quran . Those words were invented 730 years after Christ death How muslims can claim Jerusalem was their holy city when the word Jerusalem doesnt apear not even once in Quran but apear 877 times in the Bible?? All those claims are just nonsense invented by Mohamed and later on by muslims . If islam was the first religion it wouldnt contradict so flagrant with Thora and Injeel ( Bible) so islam doesnt make more sense than christianity its rather like an impostor trying to steal anothers one identity. No islam doesnt make more sense then christianity becouse islam doesnt respect any of the profecys regarding the coming of Jesus ,his mission here ,his death and his resurection. No ,islam doesnt make sense when claims that Quran is a confirmation of Bible but in the same time calls the Bible corupt and changed. Nio islam dont make any sense when claims that God cand "change his mind" by estating that some verse was abrogated to be replaced with batter one :)) It makes God look like an idiot who change his mind . No islam make no sense when claims that semen came from the backbone ,islam dont make sense when claims that sun set into a muddy spring ,islam make no sense when claims that a child will resemble the parent who "finish first" during the sexual act , islam make no sense when claims that an uncovered women is guilty becouse she was rape, etc etc etc . So,..... NO islam dont make more sense than christianity !!!

It is true that Islam is older than Christianity, in fact it started with Prophet Adam, and was revealed through Abraham, Noah, Jonah, Moses and Jesus. However their teachings got corrupted by subsequent followers, who even changed their revealed books. Hence when the religion did not remain in the original form God sent another messenger/Prophet.
The line of Prophets finally ended with Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He was and is the Last Messenger. God/Allah revealed his final book the Holy Quran, which is still preserved in its original form. Not even a single character or comma has changed.
So essentially what we call Christianity was originally Islam but was subsequently corrupted and has assumed the present form we now observe. So i would say Islam makes more sense now.

you're quite stoopid aren't you? Abraham started JUDAISM...not Islam! BTW Islam only came YEARS after Abraham! Unless this makes sense to ya, 'the religion of peace' then come some saying 'death to israel' or 'death to america'! Christianity at least has salvation through Jesus Christ! Plus, the Bible doesn't try and prove that everyone back then was muslim!

Islams beginings started a few years after Christianity.
This makes sense?
"Fight and slay the pagans (Christians, Jews, Non-Muslims) and sieze them, beleagur them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem ( of war). "-Surah 9:5, the Qur'an of Islam
Or does this make sense?
" Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you."- Matthew 5:44, The Bible of Christianity
I pick the second one.
You may disagree.
Everyone is intitles to their own opinion- but Not their own facts.
Abraham worshiped Yehweh... God of the Israelistes.
Abraham was Jewish, Jesus was Jewish...
Funny how the Qur'an( not all Muslims in perticular) shows so much reverence for them, but despises the Jewish people.
Makes you think.
Does Islam make more sense than Christianity?
I say, No

In the broad sense, Islam refers to the last of formal revelations from God in a continuum that includes the Old and the New Testaments. That is to say, what we call Judaism and Christianity and Islam are in essence different stages of revelations culminating in the Quran. Words from God are sacred in the sense that LIFE is sacred, and there's spirit and life in these words, and our peace and salvation and true progress is associated in acquiring this spirit encapsulated in God's directions to us.
