Yes, I give advice....but I ALWAYS say..."seek professional help". I hate when people say, "YES, you DEFINITELY have THIS disease or disorder!" You people don't know....just say it "could" be this or "maybe" or "I've had those symptoms, but this was MY particular illness". Not to sound bitchy....but geez!

To the paramedic down below....obviously if you have medical experience, medical advice is okay. I was just saying. People are so touchy! Including myself!!!

Well, if the asker puts the question out here instead of TO their doctor, then they obviously don't want a true medical opinion, just life experiences.
I can give some advice on what I think it might be, and tell them to contact their doctor. I am a nurse, I can't diagnose. I don't think a doctor should diagnose without seeing a person either. But what I have seen here so far is someone stating what they had...never heard anyone say "you definitely have blah blah blah".
A lot of people feel anxiety about talking to their doctor, so guess they come here first to get reassurance.

I may not be a doctor, but I am a Paramedic...I have gone through highly accredited intensive schooling and training, therefore my advice is well thought out and given. If you think about it, we (paramedics) are the doctors eyes, ears and hands until such a time that we can turn a patient over to a doctor in the emergency room. I think that says a lot. Besides, I only answer the questions that i KNOW the answer to. If I cant answer it, I leave it alone. I am not going to give bad advice or suggestions that would cause more harm than good.
