This is for my Multicultural psychology class. I need to show how 3 factors: 1. The belief in in-group superiority of White workers; 2. exploitative practices of businesses; and 3. the creation of between group competition for a perceived scarce resource (jobs and land) led to the extreme prejudice against Chinese and Japanese workers who immigrated to this country.

While the Asians seem to be spared a lot of white racism and bigotry in this modern age (and I'm sure there is some), they have a long history of antagonism with the black community, esp. inner city.

probably the same as any race: determination, hard work, hope for the a better life. i tihnk this the reasons for blacks, asians, irish(my group), italians, and ithers.
