My hair color what is it?

I am confused because well I am not really sure what my hair color is. Basically I am not sure if I used a product that changes or changed my hair color but my hair is light brown with almost black roots, is this normal?

Well, no I know a friend of mine who had platuim blonde hair and still has Black eye brows her hair is natural also. So I dont think you are right there.

yes! a lot of people have that. as long as you didn't diy the roots then it is natural! and i know what you mean by being confused about your hair color! my hair color is blond but brunette! like a light brown! sheesh!

hair is normally darker at the root.
here's what happens:
each time it is exposed to the sun it gets 'sun bleached'. the hairs at the root haven't had enough time exposure to lighten. that's why it's softer , too.
darker hair tends to turn a reddish color while light hair tends to go blonder.

when doing a color consultation i always ask when the last time the hair was colored or ANY services done to it (so i can look at the root area to see natural color. ) the hair at the ROOT is the NATURAL color.

Your hair color is probably the color of your roots unless you just colored your roots. If you truly dont know, look at your eyebrows. THAT is your hair color.

a lot of peoples hair gets light in the summer from the sun, so now you are seeing your hair grow out darker since its fall now and you havent been outside much. this is normal, your hair just lightens in the summer.

it just depends because my hair untop is natural light blonde on the bottom it is natural dirty blonde
