Hypothetically speaking, "hell" is probably a slow disintegration process that the residual life energy hologram undergoes after physical existence ends. The second law of thermodynamics applies. This hologram is encoded as information upon the surface of space-time.

Imagine being broken up into separate pixels and being expanded with the space-time of the universe.

Just speculation on my part though.

I get your reasoning and example, but there are many descriptions of hell without using that word in the Bible. For example, when Jesus intervenes to save the woman from being stoned to death, he tells the crowd that the person in the group that has no sin should throw the first rock. No one throws a rock, so we should assume that no one in the crowd is without sin. They are all sinners.
Who goes to Hell, the sinners go to Hell. But who judges how serious the sin is and what the punishment should be, obviously God is the Judge, and who will challenge this idea. No one!
Your question is a good one because it exposes the simplicity of the everyday practice of religion in good and bad, black and white and common or complex ideas or not.
It is easier to talk in absolutes, right or wrong, and life is really more complex than that in most cases. For example, in the case of a prostitute being stoned to death for being a prostitute, what about those men who use a prostitute?
Why should the man be blameless when the woman is libel to be stoned to death for something both human beings, men and woman, are guilty of doing?
What is hell in this situation? Do all who get involved in sex, out of wedlock, go to hell? Does the prostitute go to hell when she is stoned? Does the John go to hell when he uses a prostitute?
The answer is no, not necessarily. Not if the john is a **********, maybe.
God knows, we say, but do we really know? No, we do not know hell nor do we know God. We can have faith, which we can not own. Faith is not ownable. Faith is just plainly, seeing or comprehending that we can not understand how everything works out, but we know that it does.
So hell, in the sense of being absolute, is just a word.

Hell is an English word used for other Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek words that are used in the Bible (including Gehenna, Hades, Sheol).

Cordially,
John

Hell is a translation of the Hebrew word “Sheol”, which translates something like ‘place of the dead’ and is something like a grave or a pit. All the eternal torture stuff grew out of fundamentalist Christians who are a hateful and miserable group of people. They are exactly the same as fundamentalist Muslims. Why else would Falwell and Robertson claim that their Christian God caused 9/11 to punish Americans for their unchristian behavior?

Hell is an English word. Just as the French talk about the Etas Unis, and not the United States. Hell is the name given for Gehena, and the lake of fire, etc. It's just words and semantics.

the term "hell" is simply a term adopted to describe what Jesus described as gehenna and hades. they are both places of separation from God or anything good. It's a desolate place with no relief. we use the term "hell" for both.

because pastors and priests try to scare you into accepting their religion by saying you will burn in hell when you die, so they make/force want you to repent. g-d doesn't want you 2 go there and of course if there is heaven there is the opposite.

another detail...

Sheol is literally the grave... like the hole in the ground your body is put into.

Gahenna is something more resembling the Purgatory that some christians believe in, its definitely NOT an eternal punishment.

Eternal hell is a christian invention.

because unfortunantly, we dont seem to want to hear, give to the poor and live a life or servanthood or about hell, pastors are becoming politicans, just saying what people want to hear like if you join Christ you will be wealthy and healthy. no not actually, i mean it is possible but you wont have a miracle of health and money just by joining Jesus.
