i have dark brown hair, chestnut as some one told me and i wanted to lighten my hair. I dont want to lighten it a lot but just a bit. How can i do that? could i use lemon juice or something like that? i dont want to put too much chemicals into my hair.

NO HOME REMEDIES! Go to the salon and get some subtle highlights...not BLONDE but just tell them you want to add some depth and lightness to your hair. It will look beautiful. A caramel color would be great.

Go to a professional, get highlights that are only a shade lighter than your hair and just a few of them. Do not lighten your hair all over, because you will then have a root problem.
