I am 16 and when I was about 10 I had a cavity on the bottom of my right top tooth (the one thats second from the back).
Since yesterday, I have had sharp pains from that tooth that last about a second at about 3 times each day. What could it be?

If the pain only lasts for a few seconds, that is a good sign. Usually sensitivity (pain) to cold or sweets that lasts for a few seconds is often just a cavity. It is possible that you either have a cavity in a different tooth or in that same tooth that you had filled once before. However; I cannot give you a definitive answer! You need to see your dentist and have them take a look. They will need to take an x-ray to confirm their diagnosis. If there is a small cavity, it will just need a filling; however, if there is a large cavity that has entered the nerve chamber (pulp), then it will need a Root Canal. Do not wait to see if it gets better, go get it checked out! Most likely it will be something small, but waiting can turn something small into something big!

ANYTIME TOOTH WAS DRILLED, THERE IS SURGERY. THE NERVE PERCEIVES THIS AS AN ATTACK AND REACTS BY PUTTING A LAYER OF PROTECTION TO THE ATTACK. IN DENTISTRY THIS IS CALLED SECONDARY DENTIN. THE TOOTH MAY BE SENSITIVE FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT THIS WILL GRADUALLY FEEL BETTER. THE FACT THAT IT'S BEEN SOMETIME SINCE THIS TOOTH WAS TREATED MAKE ME BELIEVE THAT THE FILLING MAY BE FRACTURED OR YOU MAY HAVE UNDERLYING DECAY UNDER THE FILLING. SEE THE DENTIST FOR THIS TOOTH.

You could have a recurrent decay. It means a cavity under the filling.Go to the dentist before the decay riches to the nerve.

sounds to me like it's time for a dental check up. the cavity could have gotten worse. especially since it's sensitive to cold. make sure you go to the dentist. if you ignore it or wait to long it might need a root canal. which is not pleasant.

Sounds like it's gotten worse and gone into your gums...either that or the tooth has cracked. Get to a dentist asap before it gets too painful.

Cavity probably needs to at least be replaced. It could have a crack somewhere and decay is underneath again.
