Ive heard December 5th but these came from blogs. Is there any way to confirm this.

Microsoft's website says "early 2007". If they're being that vague, I would suppose it means that an official release date has not been set with any more precision. (And to babe19: a beta is not an official production release.)

when it comes to new windows . os a lot cant wait for it to come out well the news is its out and ready to use yes windows vista is all ready out . you can install vista at any given time. all you do is go to the website download vista beta version put it on cd and install it .

was just pushed from late october to november for enterprise release and for public consumers it is jan 07
