If you have constant worry with your symptoms, you may have general anxiety disorder. Uncontrollable worry, easily agitated, insomnia, all of these are symptoms. I have had gad for over 4 years and have been taking Effexor XR to treat mine. Sometimes you will develop over time a lack of dopamine in which case your doctor may prescribe another type of medication to balance your chemical imbalance. Do not suffer with this, it can ruin your relationships with friends, family, job and yourself. It is nothing to be ashamed of. The meds are there to help you. Millions of people suffer from anxiety. You are not alone. Good luck.

Anxiety is Deep Stress. First you need to find out what is causing the stress? What is the trigger? People, certain places, driving, school, parents, peers, or what?
Then decide how you can eliminate the stress. Anxiety and panic attacks is the bodys way of trying to SHUT DOWN so it does not blow up (ruin the mental or physical health).
Write down everything that is causing you stress, then write down ways to solve the problems causing the stress. (such as change schools, hang our with different friends, stop drinking).
Make a plan. Take one thing to work on per week to eliminate the stress (like go to the library and get quiet time, dont eat dinner with the family, get a study mate for better grades).
You can solve this problem but first you must recognize the triggers and then you must be motivated to tackle the stress.
It is up to you dont wait act now. Stress will only get worse with time.

That's relatively bizarre, I'm 23 and feature had close to the special identical revel in. Was on Fluoxetine, then obtained positioned onto Citalopram. I used to have horrifc panic assaults, made me suicidal, so so so scary. Anyway, medical professionals would not aid me for a long time however ultimately positioned me onto Olanzapine which you are taking at night time (as good as Citalopram which I persisted to take). It used to be like a miracle, relatively relatively looked after me out. It's an anti-psychotic (which I recognise sounds frightening) and I'm now not completely definite the way it works however possibly valued at asking your medical professional approximately it. Sorry, I recognise that did not relatively reply your query however concept it possibly valuable to understand! All the fine.

What do you think is the cause?

Please, before you go straight on meds try exercise (brisk walking is great!), changing your diet to super healthy, and meditation/breathing/relaxation.
Also, try Google and see what non-med things you can try.

Best of luck from someone who KNOWS anxiety!

go to a psych/doctor and they will prescribe you medication if needed, or will give you information on how to deal with this problem.
