okay so my dog is REALLY wild. if you let her in the house she will run and jump and you can tell her to stop or no and she doesnt. you can grab her and she doesnt sit still. you can hit her and she NEVER stops! i need help.

is there a medicine for dogs that makes her calm down or less wild?

At night she barks at NOTHING! always at the house or at the fence or just even at the cars on the main road. i never get any sleep unless i let her inside and then she gets really wild! i can control her. she only calms down if you lock her up in a small room and sit with her or you tie her up INSIDE.

HELP ME!!!

Get you and your dog to dog obedience school pronto. You need to be trained on how to train a dog WITHOUT HITTING HER. And your dog needs to learn that you are the alpha. Both of you need to learn respect for each other. A dog only knows as much as their owner does, and is no better than the trainer, who is you, at this time. Dog obedience school, ASAP.

. A great toy is called a 'kong'. You can get them in most pet stores and they are designed to keep your dog busy. You put peanut butter in the open end, and then the dog tries to get the peanut butter out, which takes time for them to do. Make sure you get the right size 'kong' toy for your dog. Also, make sure she is getting the right amount of exercise for her breed. You may want to try a crate inside the house for nights. Give her the kong then as well. This will help her adjust to the crate and keep her busy and hopefully quiet. When she does something right make sure to notice and praise her immediately. This lets her know that you like good behavior. If she is just sitting quietly, throw her a treat. Let her know when she is being good. It sure beats just getting attention when she is not behaving. That only tells her that she gets attention for doing things other than what you want. Use positive reinforcement and you will get a positive dog.

When she comes in the house, have her on a lead. Have treats in your pocket. When she comes in the house you will have control because she is on a lead. Have her sit by taking one of the treats and holding it in one hand, showing it to her, but above her head. This will get her to sit. When you do this, say sit. Be patient. When she sits give her the treat immediately and praise her. this is just the first step, but certainly gives you an idea of what you need to do.

Hitting and yelling don't work. It only intensifies the situation for both of you.
Try and take a deep breath. seriously. Take a few. If you don't know what do do, how can your dog know what to do? Suggestions: Get to a dog obedience class. Classes are designed to educate the owner so they can train their dog. Anytime you train your dog, it should be fun for both of you. If you are not having fun, it is time to take a break.

You got some work ahead of you, but if you take the time and proceed with patience, you will find you have a better dog on your hands.

Good Luck to you both.

Well chiuahua lady is a retard so dont listen to her becuz some abuse for ur pet is nessecary now if u do i tall the time thas not right but she prolly needs fixed because more than likely the dog is in heat or wanting some action but what i would do is consider a trip to the vet and if u cant do that then try a HARSH no almost yelling make sure u have the dogs attention also try walking around with the dog and talking to the dog and i even sometimes have to relate to spanking the dog and if you do that and the dog dont stop running around right then then ur not spanking hard enough however when the dog stops then HARSHLY say no almost yelling like i said before and that should work.

wow what kind of dog do you have? perhaps a terrier of some kind? first of all never hit it that just means you have lost controll, not that it sounds like you have any controll at this point. You can try to get a crate to start your training. your dog should be able to stand and turn around in it. then you can have a safe time out area for your pet. a nice place it can sleep and you can put the animal in the garage or somewhere you cant hear her bark. my dogs love there crates. you wouldnt have a baby without a crib would you. but without knowing the breed and age your problem may be life long some dogs are very active. maybe it is not the right breed for you. you might find a crate is the answer to your problem hope this helps

Wow… It sounds like you have a nervous dog on your hands. First you need to set up a routine for feeding and exercise. Keep the times the same for these activities everyday. Then you need to establish dominance in your home so the dog understands you are the boss and you decide what will be done and at what time. Whatever you do, do not try to comfort the dog if she is getting hyper or seems upset, this will only reinforce the bad behavior. Nervousness and hyperactivity come from nervous energy in the home, work on projecting a strong dominant image toward your dog; she’ll be happier and calmer.

First remember that a puppy is a like a new baby. They only know and learn what you teach them, or allow them to do.

DO NOT hit the dog to teach it anything, this will only make them scared of you.

There are several ways to train a dog, first is to get a credible book on training.

In short get a kennel, if the dog will not settle down after 2-3 minutes, they go into the kennel.

If they continue to bark after two or three nights, you may have to resort to a bark collar. After two of three nights they should learn that you are coming to their every whim, just like a baby learns.

Puppies need lots of attention, and play time. If your gone all day, they have been resting, and when you come home, they are ready and full of energy to play. You have to work the energy off.

I can go on and on, but start with a good book it will help.

Your dog is much like mine, very excited and a tad crazy. It seems that your dog doesn't have very much to do to get rid of all that energy. You have to exersice your dog everyday!! If you take your pooch for a brisk walk for about an hour a day it will calm down eventually. You also needs some sort of formal training. I use a halti collar on my dog which allows you to control the dogs head. It's good for dogs who jump and pull on the leash and it doesn't hurt them. The dog will not like it at all but you have to be firm and become the Pack Leader. It'snot going to be easy but in the end it'll be worth it. Give your dog a job to do like carry a doggie back pack filled with bottle water when you go out on walks. I hope this helps you good luck

First, make sure the dog is exercised alot. This calms them and you. Yelling at the dog just makes it worse. Sounds like the dog is the leader and you are the follower. It's suppose to be the other way around. YOU need to be in control. Dogs are pack animals. They need to be told what to do and when to do it. That means you take the dog out, proper leash/collar for that breed, walk with dog at YOUR SIDE. Not out in front. YOU are the leader. Speak calmly, and be authoritative. See dog whisperer. no joke! GO Tackle- Leader!

You really really need to get professional help for you and your dog. This is waay to far over the top for some advice on the internet to fix. Also talk to your vet to see if there is anything physically wrong with your dog and get advice on trainers.

Find the best dog trainer that you can afford. If you can not afford a trainer talk to your local humane society they may be able to help you. If you can not get help at all the best thing would be to find the dog a new home. If things go on as they are it is likely the dog will need to be put down.

Best of luck

First, I would consider if she is getting enough exercise. Secondly I wouldn't leave her outside, if you can't sleep with her barking, do you think your neighbors are getting any sleep?
Consider giving her the chance to be a good dog with obedience training. It will teach both of you a few basics to help you sleep and make her a good dog.
