Music does it for me. Do you like "New Order"? The Album 'Power, Corruption and Lies' is a great album, it changes my darkness when I get frustrated.
But when I was 15 I used endorphins; I ran long distances and had a lot of time to sort things out. I would also hike for hours; the excercise changed my physiological chemistry. Situations just looked different afterwards.

Right now you probably don't want to hear that everyone has problems to some extent.
Drinking them away for now will work until your sober then, they'll still be there and....maybe more due to your drinking.
Unless you've commited murder, there always a way out or a way to solve your problems. Don't tell me they're that bad, I've seen the worst and believe me there were times it would have been better to be dead. And in fact I almost was in another time, another place.
You must have a friend to talk to, call someone. If at a last resort call your local chapter of AA or some other help group.
I worked for NEON on the West bank of the Minneapolis U of M many years ago. We went out and helped people that were on their last leg, much like you. There is someone to call. Don't drink.

ummm, not a graet idea. "Just this once" leads to just once more and then once more and pretty soon, you have a problem. Don't do it. Take up some martial arts or dance classes. Get a kickboxing video or dvd if you would rather stay home. You have to do something aggressive to help with stress and depression. Doing that stuff with a pal really helps too. It won't fix your life, but it works great for fixing how you feel about yourself and your life. It helps you deal with the crappy cards life threw at you. Whatever is wrong now is just a rough stepping stone to get to a brighter future. Good luck!

When the going gets tough, some people just spiral into continuous cycle of crappiness or emerged out of it bruised but stronger than before.
So, think about it. I trust u're in a serious problem. In fact, if i were in your shoes, i might handle it worse than you. But you can be stronger than me and definitely stronger than you think you are. You want to say to yourself that at the end of the day, "I survived".
Keep the booze in check. Indulge instead in the company of trusted friends and families. Spend quiet time at the park. Reflect.

Yes it is beacuse when you wake up of finish drinking the problem is still going to exist.Drinking is never the solution to a problem but talking it out and seeking counseling is.I'm pretty sure there differant places to go to in your area for counseling. How about your pastor, priest or social worker.

Oh mate, don't try to drown your sorrows, it only makes it worse, you wake up sick and your pain is still there. Booze isn't the answer. I don't know how to help you with your problem, but I do know how you feel (been there, done that). If you really want to have a drink then go do it, but believe me it NEVER helps only makes it worse.

I tell you, if you try to drink the pain away it will only get worse because alcohol is a depressent and if you think you are depressed now.........just wait until you have a hangover and nothing has changed except that you have a hangover and feel like crap!!!!!!!!! and MORE depressed...............but GOOD LUCK! Try doing something constructive...........like get out and go swimming or read a good book.............

drinking makes you depressed, this makes matters worse. why do you think drunks are shown crying. if you want to feel really overwhelmed go ahead and try it out. the best thing to do is remember that whatever happened is in the past, look to the present and take it one day at a time.

You are gonna do a lot better if you do something to address the crap first, and then get a good night's sleep.

I would say let yourself go, but only this once. Please dont make a habit of it, I've been there done that and all it causes is more problems and more pain for you to have to deal with in the long run.
Good Luck...
