Not neccessarily, although the hormaones may affect you in that way. My Mom had 2 girls never been sick, sister had 2 girls a boy never sick I have 3 boys and an unknown on the way never sick. We all react to hormones differently! Sometimes it is the pregnancy and levels of hormones for that one.
A friend had a girl, not sick, boy not sick, 3rd child girl got extremely sick! it is all about hormones!

I was really sick with my son, then when I had my first daughter, I had no sickness, then on my second daughter I was really sick again. I think it has to do with your hormone level, not what the sex of the child is. Every pregnancy is different. I have talked to a lot of women about this, and just like my midwife always told me, you're going to have a boy, or a girl!

That is an old wives tale. I was always extremely sick with my 3 boys, and Im pregnant again and even sicker than before. Im not sure what this one yet. My friend however was not sick at all with her 2 girls, but as soon as she got pregnant with her son, she was sick.

Not true!
I was so sick that I lost 15 pounds and didn't gain anything until about month 5, and I had a boy.
My sister-in-law had perfectly normal nausea, and had a girl.
That's all just old wives tales, like if you have heartburn, your baby will have lots of hair, and if your nose gets wide, you'll have a girl. There's tons of them!

It is an old wives tale. It means you are having a boy if you get sick a lot, and if you carry higher. You maybe having a boy and you carry lower.

it's different for every woman! Some getter sicker with a boy, but most get sicker with a girl!! Some say their symptoms weren't that much different!!

I sure did, I got sick all day all nine months with my daughter, with my son I only got sick once or twice

no...my first daughter I was really sick all thru the pregnancy...with my 2nd now (i'm 27 weeks), I stopped having nausea and morning sickness at 20 weeks.

nope, old wives tale, like most things you'll hear. I had two girls and a boy, and each was different.
