Where do you think is the best place to live in the east of U.S.? Taking these factors into consideration: a decent size town (not the capital of the state but also not a small town), good schools, nice weather, and affordable. (Looking to relocate next year, just doing some research)

I hear Durham, NC is a great place

Seriously, don't relocate too close to the actual coastline. The polar ice caps are melting rather quickly and eventually we will have new coastlines further inland. Not to mention the high increase in hurricanes due to global warming.

I grew up in Connecticut. It's beatiful in the fall with the leaves changing color. Clse to New York City, school's O.K., Yale in New Haven Countryside is lovely. nice driving, winding roads, little shops and towns too!

Suberbs of DC is a nice place. Somewhere in MD or VA.
