The important thing is: God believes in you, more than you believe in Him. So, of all the people in all the world, He is the Master and Seat of Infinite Wisdom and Knowledge. He is Love. And by Love, we are all here. And by Love, I speak to you.

I would like to know why. I wouldn't be compeled to try and change you mind. I might question you reasoning.
Believe in a God is a personal choice, and I have no problem with that as long as you understand that belief in God and thinking that you know are two different things.

I think that there might be some people that will try to explain the scientific approach to creation combined with the worlds events through history such as meteor or commit strikes. Some people will argue the contradiction of man and lack of evidence for the existence so there must be no such thing and we simply just dont exist anymore when we die. Some will even stray as far as saying that we are in a dream state of consciousness and that we are our own creator manifested... I say that all the above is and will always be all of that which is the creator and more so to an extent which we will never be able to comprehend as in trying to explain solar power to a ladybug.

I would say, "Good, I'm glad you believe in God, but that doesn't really say much since even the demons believe in God, and tremble. The important question is if you have surrendered your life to God, repented from your wrong ways and are following this God you believe in."

Or, I would say something along those lines but with feedback from you so I knew were exactly I should take this conversation. For, you see, believing in God is the first step, but that alone won't save you.

There are probably a million different arguments out there against any given religion.

The only way I would be compelled to tell you anything specific about my religion is if you asked me. My religion (Greek Orthodox) is fundamental for me and I'm happy to share, if you ASK. It's not my place to force it down your throat.

If I knew you, I may be interested in listening to your view on religion because that's part of being a good friend.

Short and simple, my answer is "Don't be caught dead without Christ." Secondly, all this bull about "God Bless America?" God will once again bless America, when America gets back to God. Notice all the weird things going on? Freaky snowstorms, freaky floods, freaky fires? Fema's out of money. Babies are murdering each other in school because they're so screwed up and lacking his direction? Think maybe God is trying to get our attention? Maybe trying to get us to ask ourselves, Hey, as powerful and intelligent as you people think you are, and hate one another, destroy my earth, kill each other in my name, guess what? Let me remind you just who is in charge! And isn't it kinda strange how everytime we send some stupid thing to the moon or wherever, it screws up the weather and just gets worse here on earth? Like, Hello, you people have already screwed up the earth in just a few short years. Now you think you can screw up the rest of my universe as well? How about you get your act together on earth before you try to take over the rest of my universe? If you were to tell me you believe in God, would I compel you to change your mind? Heck no! We need more of you. Question to you is, when a person sees you, hears you, does it make them want to say, Wow, whatever he/she believes in, I want to believe it too?, or does it turn people away from him? Do you set an example by your faith, or just talk about it and do nothing besides that? I lied, my answer wasn't short and simple. God bless.

If that were the beginning and end of your statement, then no. I would have no reason to try to change your mind. If instead you declare yourself and your fellow worshippers the ONLY bearers of ulitmate truth on the planet, tell everyone else they are condemned to hell, talk about 'sin' and 'redemption' and how the Bible is literal truth and needs to be obeyed or else, THEN I would be compelled to attempt to show you the error of your ways and of your thinking. THAT would and does compel me.

Very interesting...I think you should read a short story by William Golding. Get back to you on the name.

Maybe ask you why, or what do you mean by god, or when did you start believing in god? I'm interested, that's all.
