Some people have had success with hypnotherapy, and some haven't. To get both sides, check out these links from DNoneOfTheAbove.com, which gives search results for comments that people have made about hypnotherapy in internet forums, including right here in Yahoo Answers.

I bought hypnosis CD's for a very difficult problem. I did not follow the directions properly so it took a really long time to work, but now it has and It feels like a miracle. I never thought I could overcome that problem. Plus they are very relaxing. Wendi.com is where I bought them, she has something for everything. She has a very soothing voice, natural down to earth manner, ans I believe a sincere desire to help people, but I am sure there are many other good hypnotists as well as some real scam artists.
