Since I moved, do I need a new tax ID number? I moved from Ny. to NC.

No need for a new ID. Just send the IRS a change of address form which can be obtained on www.irs.gov.

Do you have a small business that is set up as an LLC? In that case, you will need to notify the Department of Revenue and register with the the NC Secretary of State. Both links are below.

If you mean your personal Social Security Number, then no. The SSN is issued by the Federal Government and 'follows you around' for your entire life.
