I have felt that way and staying busy is what I did to try to overcome it. Being active in sports as well as at home either deocrating redecorating my room. Just do some thing that you really enjoy . Do you like writing stories
Do you get out and do things away from the internet.
Try to involve yourself in doing something that has people around
If this goes on for a little too long you may want to talk to a doctor about it. Just to help you out not to make you feel bad but to actually help you feel good.

Did you notice how many times you used the word ME???
If life is all about YOU and YOUR happiness and how YOU feel, it is going to be a rough ride. Try this - be thankful every time you take a shower that you have the freedom to do it whenever you want, and that you have soap! And a roof over your head, and food to eat. And even if you don't have these things and you live in North Korea, (God help you if you do!) there is always something to be thankful for. Depressed people are always thinking about themselves. So try it. I want to know how it works for you.

This sounds like anhedonia (the inability to enjoy anything at all), which is a symptom of clinical depression.
I would suggest seeing a doctor, specifically a psychiatrist. I am not one, so I may be wrong, but what you have sounds very much like clinical depression. There are many people who will tell you that you should just be able to "get over it" You can't. You can "get over" clinical depression just about as well as you can "get over" type one diabetes.
I promise you that if you start on anti-depressants, all that baggage that you had before will still be there. They aren't magic happy pills or panaceas. They simply allow you to be able to deal with stuff, enjoy life, and even out your brain chemistry.
However, with that said, if you are diagnosed, and even if you aren't, I would recommend accompanying treatment with something like clinical or pastoral counseling, friends, finding ways to self-soothe, and trying to find out what you enjoy and what makes you happy, and what motivates you (which will be quite impossible if you do have clinical depression and don't treat).

Might be a good idea to seek help from a psycologist. It could quite possibly be depression that's getting you down. And if it's not depression, it may be something else. Get out and make some new friends. Join a club or two. Be proactive in finding your happiness. I wish you all the best.

Happiness comes from within , no one can give it to you . When you are having lows in life you can read books for inspiration . Positive attitude books , or higher self esteem books . They have always been of a great deal of help for me through my life , sometimes we just need reminders or a gentle push in the right direction . I can recommend some if you like . You can email me and I'll make you a list of my favorites .

boring you say? your lucky............... I'm exhausted....with the kid's , 10 loads of laundry a day, things getting destroyed by the kids, cleaning after them, baby's crying, I wish I was bored. I wish I had time for that, If I was bored, I would take a bubble bath, facial, listen to my favoirte music, Call my best friend, and plan a dinner out with her. I would work out- lose weight, fit into those size 2 jeans, I used to wear. Then I would go out dancing, and drink martini's. I would then go back to college, and get that medical degree I have always wanted.

Join a club. Take some classes just for fun. Join a church group if you're religious. Take up a sport! These are all ways you can meet great people, and do some fun things. You need to get OUT THERE!

Life has its ups and downs, try to remain positive. Everybody has felt this way one way or another. Try to find a new hobby you are interested in and see if that helps.

You don't tell us if you are a minor or an adult. If an adult, try something new... a change of scenery, change of job, new hobby, join a group. Be sure you are eating right and exercising. Your physical health has a LOT to do with your emotional disposition.
