You are not looking very hard then.
Jesus was not a liberal wimp. He was a very conservative republican who ordered his followers to slay their opponents.
Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
It is clear wimp liberals who think Jesus was against the death penalty and war have never read the bible. Jesus was a soldier for Christianity. He ordered his followers to wear swords even if they had to sell their robes in order to buy them. He said he came not to bring peace. He came to destroy the non believers and torture them forever in hell.
If you just think about who is it that stands against our president in his holy war in iraq you will see it is the atheistic liberal democrats. Real Christians like Rush Limbaugh support war and the death penalty.

Christ didn't. Conservative "Christians" are not aware of Jesus' perfect example and His death to absolve all humans of the need to be part of the Old Convenant.
Christ was about 4 ideals:
1. Be peaceful to others -- ALL others, even your enemies.
2. Be humble to others -- lift everyone above your own needs and wishes and pride.
3. Be loving to others -- even those who hate you.
4. Sacrifice yourself to hold to the other 3 ideals.
Nothing in Christ's words or actions allows for greed or war. Evangelicals and Conservatives are not really Christians -- they want power over other men. That's sin, but we can't judge them because we are sinners ourselves. We have to love them, and hope that they see the errors in their ways.

what makes you think it has anything to do with Christians?
Further.. greed & war seems to follow those who do NOT beleive. The peaceable people of the world are more likely to be the Lords people.
War has always been a part of the world- it is becuase of the unrighteous rulers. And evil men prevail when good men do nothing. Good men need to wake up, I agree and stand up and be counted.

Rev 19:11 And I saw Heaven being opened. And, behold! A white horse, and He sitting on it having been called Faithful and True. And He judges and wars in righteousness.
Rev 19:12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head many diadems, having a name that had been written, which no one knows except Himself;
Rev 19:13 and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, being dressed in fine linen, white and pure.
Rev 19:15 And out of His mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of God Almighty.
Rev 19:16 And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God,
Rev 19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of chiliarchs, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and of the ones sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both freemen and slaves, even of the small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies being assembled to make war with the One sitting on the horse, and with His army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was seized, and with this one the false prophet doing signs before it, by which he led astray those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping its image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, the sword having gone forth from His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.
Wow, not "hippy" Jesus here. He is the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, who destroys His enemies.
War has been going on since Cain killed Abel. It is out the sin of man that it comes, but unfortunately, sometimes it is necessary.
I see your slap at Christians with the greed comment. But, if you looked at the statistical evidence, Christians are by far the most generous people on earth, with money, possessions and time. But please don't let the facts get in the way of your biased, left wing political diatribe.

One of my favorite bumper stickers- WWJB? Who would Jesus bomb?
We need to remember Christianity is about following Jesus's example and not mix God's name with the evils on earth.

He didn't, I think Jesus would be chasing the money changers out of all the churches in the world if he were here today.

I looked too.
I especially wanted to find the part about trying to kill your enemy's. All I could find was some stuff about loving your enemy's.
I just don't understand.,
