When i try to download ANY song, it says that i dont have a liscense for it! THERE IS NO SONG THAT IT WILL LET ME DOWNLOAD FOR FREE! What am i doing wrong??? This is what i do:
I go to search,
Then i click on audio,
I put the title of the song i want to download in,
When a list comes up of the song i want, i click download,
and a pop up comes up saying that i dont have a liscense!
WHAT IS THAT ABOUT????
my friends have limewire and they love it, and that never happens to them! Does limewire, just, not like me???
HELP!

yes, i accepted their liscense agreement! i dont think it wouldve let me download it if i didnt!

The whole licence alert is only there to cover Limewire's butt from litigation. There is nothing to stop you from downloading these files, and if is not wrapped in some form of DRM (as most at this stage are not), there is nothing to stop you from downloading and using :)

did you accept their license agreement when you down loaded limewire? and did you pay for lime wire/ if you did these things it should work i have no problems with it.

if you and when you are down loading any songs make sure that it says mp3 across from the song title/name if it says wma it will not let you download it. also download itune 7.0 it will allow you to keep your music in alpha order.............delmcclamma@yahoo.com

lime wire really is a sucky site to download. i use a site called etomipro. com really nice and easy to use
