I have never been damaged by a persons sexuality. I had a dear friend for 34 years who was a lesbian. She came out to me when we were in our early 20's. Shyrlene remained a very close friend until the day she died from breast cancer. It is for her that I fight so hard for gay rights. It is for her that it means so much to me.

The fear or misunderstanding of homosexuality has complicated my family and life, but my homosexuality is, to me, a blessing. I have a much broader perspective on life as a gay man than I would ever have developed as a sheltered Christian straight man.

i feel sorry for those who say homosexuality has damaged anything. homosexuality is not to blame. it is the individuals that are to blame. you dont see a christian who has had too many beers get in his car and then hit and kill someone, and then blame christianity for what that guy did, do you? if you said no, then you shouldnt blame homosexuality for something a person did, either.

I don't know how it could, unless I embarked on a gay affair behind my wife's back. I'm afraid that hasn't happened, so as far as the ill effects of homosexuality on marital bliss go, they would have to be nil.

im a lesbian and it has not damaged my life or my family
of course it takes time for your loved ones to come to terms with the fact that you are gay, but they get over it.
if i have been damaged at all, its from the homophobic comments that i have received from strangers. they should mind their own business

Not affected me much because as of the moment i don't have a wife or children. But, it broke up my cousins marriage and his daughter ended up pregnant due to her being "loose" to prove to others that she isn't gay.

She was raised by the lesbian mother(who left her husband(my cousin)) And its also damaging my country, but it is just part of the whole deterioration of morality as a whole.

It never, ever has. I see more damage done to other peoples' lives by Bible-thumping Christains succeeding in injecting their insane beliefs into our laws.

Homosexuality ruined my life. After all of this gay marriage stuff started going on, my parents got divorced.

They're not gay or anything, but I blame the homosexuality.

My marriage was wrecked because my husband decided to step outside it. Gay or straight, it didn't matter. He made a vow and broke it.
