I enjoy detailed answers,but do you get more points for a full page answer??

No, and too bad. You only get the 10 points if your answer is chosen as best. To me, many times a good answer takes more than a line or two. I would get more points just giving short answers in the time it takes to give a thoughtful answer, but the points aren't why I'm here.

if you want more point, then answer more questions. if you can not find questions that you wish to answer, then vote for best answers.

no, and they usually don' get read thoroughly
this is a short attention span venue, generally of course.
people could do their own research.
