Very deep.
First of all, we view the world in a kind of virtual reality. Our brains process nerve signals. Our eyes, for instance, do not project an image on the brain, they generate a set of nerve signals that the brain then interprets. This means that we cannot be sure of our senses. They are merely inputs.
Secondly, the brain is constructed in a particular way in order to interpret these signals. But, where do these enter our mind? When our mind interprets the various signals from our brain, how sure are we of the interpretation.
Thirdly, if our senses are virtual, and our brains are "hard wired," and our mind interprets only what it is fed, how can we be sure of anything?

Christians don't "know". We live by faith.
Jesus described faith as like a mustard seed. It is a tiny seed at first, but then it grows into one of the biggest plants there are.

When I first believed, to be honest, it was because I couldn't think of anything else that could solve my problems. So I told God honestly that I wasn't sure where this would go, but I would trust His Bible and live my life the way Jesus taught us to live.

As the years have gone by, it has (like the mustard seed plant) grown bigger and stronger than any knowledge could ever be because knowledge changes as we become more sophisticated.
Faith, based on a solid foundation of trusting God and obeying His word, NEVER changes. Unless you call growing stronger changing.

I used to wonder about the mindgame thing, but not for a long time because God has always proven Himself right and trustworthy. I choose Him, not my mind. My mind is crap without leaning on God's word.

You must experience the redemptive qualities of the forgiveness of sin. Many Christians by fully apologizing to God and God alone have been cleansed of their many sins and have felt like a new creation. All things have passed away and everything becomes new. It is a new life. A rebirth. Being born from above. Being born again. Think of the Sistine Chapel where the span between God and man's finger's touching are just inches apart. But being born again is actually closing that gap and having a relationship with God. It is that real.
