It's hard to tell, because so many different words are used for "murder". In the Old Testament, God murdered a whole world including almost all of the animals, then when they got back to strength, God murdered several races of people, including the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and jebusites, to make way for the Jews, then God murdered a guy for touching his ark, and God murdered Ammonites in Jericho, and God murdered the babies in Egypt because he was mad at the Pharoah, and God murdered everybody in Soddom and Gemorrah, then God murdered Lot's wife, all the Midianites, and that doesn't even count all of the others. Actually, God didn't have all the Midianites killed. He saved the virgins for raping, but they might have killed them later.

Topical, not use of the word....

MURDER Genesis 9:2-6; Matthew 15:19,20; Revelation 21:8; 22:15; Romans 13:8-10; Exodus 23:7; 20:13; Proverbs 6:16,17; Deuteronomy 27:25

Genesis 25:21,22; Job 3:3,16; Hosea 12:3; Luke 1:36,41,44

SUICIDE examples (see also murder): Judges 9:50-57 (Abimelech), I Samuel 31:3-6 (King Saul), 2 Samuel 17:23 (Ahithophel), I Kings 16:18 (Zimri), Matthew 27:3-5 (Judas Iscariot), Acts 16:27,28 (Philippian Jailer almost committed suicide). Note that all instances were people not faithful to God.

which translation?

I counted 31 in the NIV. However that can change year to year, translation to translation.
Of course there are the times the acts of murder are mentioned, but are just not called 'murder'. I would take a guess of at least 200 of them

You need to buy yourself a bible dictionary that is the same version as the bible you have, eg; if you have the King James Version, you buy a bible dictionary for that version. It will tell you every single word in the whole bible, how many times it appears, in what passages etc etc. They are not cheap, try a 2nd hand book store.

probably not once though it's what happened at least hundreds of times over.

And it may have been retranslated into the modern King James version or new american version to suit the readers,
however, I would venture to say that originally it was not meantioned once.
Even for the parts where they murdered thousands of children-- some even condoned by Moses and God himself!
