That's a good start, now then if you truly have repented, the next step, is to live your life according to God's Will, and in harmony of it, Then you will really benefit! you may have heard that all you need to do is accept Jesus into your life, but the Bible says a totally different thing(1John2:17)but to do God's will you need to have accurate knowledge which is part of his Will. That is the only way to true happiness! May the true God bless your efforts to find his ways!

Following in the foot steps of Christ is a wonderful thing. This man was the role model for the world there are worse things than being kind to all and helping others,loving others and treating all people with respect. The key to happiness is excepting what you cant change and knowing what you can. Your father is very brave it is a very hard job being a christian.

It is Good that you understand that you are a sinner. The Lord will not save you unless you change you ways totally to be a different person who is a believer, and does good all the time for others Serves the Lords humanity and is a good human being. No exceptions
